Manuel Antonio and Final Thoughts

Ok, so I was asked to end or wrap up my blog. Before I do, let me finish my trip.

Tamana and I arrived in Manuel Antonio on Monday night and were staying at the Vista Serena Hostel, an amazing place with even more amazing views of the pacific. Tuesday morning we decided to go the park. The amazing thing about Manuel Antonio, is that it is a national park (rainforest) right next to the Pacific Ocean. So you get to see some amazing wildlife here. In fact we saw a ton of monkeys, a sloth, a boa, and some crazy looking crabs. We hiked around the park all day long and the decided to head back to the hostel to pick up some of the guys that we met from the night before.
A guy at our hostel that is living illegally, bartends at one of the bars in Manuel Antonio and they had a pretty sweet happy hour that he told us to come down to. We cleaned up and headed to the bar for some fruity cocktails. We were planning on going to another bar later for ladies night (here ladies drink completely for FREE!!!). Well we ended up at the hostel playing drinking games and never made it out. Oh well!

The unfortunate thing about the hostel was that they were adding onto it, so beginning every morning at 8:00, the workers came out, banging around and waking everyone up. They even seranade you! Pretty special.

Well Wednesday was my last day before I headed out. So we went to Quepos, the town before Manuel Antonio to buy our bus tickets and get money. Quepos doesn't have a whole lot to see, but I imagine in 5 years from now, it will be a hoppin place. We headed back to the hostel and I decided it was time for the beach, so I went to the beach and got some alone time. I also did some shopping.

Hammocks. These things are fantastic and are everyone where in Costa Rica, so of course I had to buy one. I also bought some nice shell necklaces for friends and myself.

It was my last night of my vacation and I decided it was the night to go big and go home! So a bunch of us headed out to the bar for some DJ's playing Regaee. We made it home and 2 and it was up and out 9ish to catch my bus to San Jose and to my final destination, home.

Well it was an amazing trip. In fact I plan to go back, especially to Argentina. Nothing bad happened and everything I bought made it back with me in one piece. Chris was nice enought to pick me up in San Fran at 1 in the morning, while Beth dropped me off. You guys rock.
For all of those who read my blog...I hope you enjoyed it. I am sure I will do more in the future. It was fun and of course I wish I was still on vacation.
